Annual World Congress of Orthopedics in Taiyuan, China
On September 22-24, 2017 Dr. Mirzoyan participated in BIT’s 4th Annual World Congress of Orthopedics (WCORT-2017) in Taiyuan, China. He shared our experience of application of Ilizarov technique in aesthetic surgery of legs.
The presentation roused everyone’s interest and was followed by a big discussion. The next day Dr. Mirzoyan was asked to make another presentation: application of Ilizarov frames in cases of severe trauma.
The most experienced doctor of China in Ilizarov technique, Dr. Qin Sihe, presented Dr. Mirzoyan his book “Limb Lengthening and Reconstruction”.
Dr. Mirzoyan is impressed by harmonious combination of thousand-year tradition and advanced technology in China. Friendship with Chinese friends-colleagues will continue.
