Limb Lengthening Surgery Cost
There are two constituents of the limb lengthening surgery cost: medical and accommodation costs.
The medical cost for simultaneous tibias lengthening, single cut, will cost $1900 per each cm of lengthening for both legs. The medical cost for simultaneous tibias lengthening, double cut, will cost $2000 per each cm of lengthening for both legs. The limb lengthening cost refers to lengthening of 4 cm and more. The medical cost for cross-lateral tibia-femur lengthening will cost $2200 per each cm of lengthening for both legs. This includes examination, anesthesia, surgery, 5 days in the post op room, dressing and pin site care in the process of lengthening and fixation, the course of physical therapy and frames removal. In cases of lengthening over the nail, an additional second surgery will cost $3000 per each segment, including the cost of the nail and all medical expenses. Depending on the time of the year and other circumstances we can offer up to 10% discount.
Accommodations: hospital stay is $70 per day in a very comfortable single room, with three meals a day. If the patient prefers to be discharged and continue the procedure as an outpatient, this will cost average $1300 per month. The mentioned cost includes the price for staying at a nice apartment, all facilities, internet, cleaning, cooking and all reasonable services.
